Safari Sports - Office Manager (added 31.01.2012)

Safari Sports Limited specialises in the supply of sports equipment to schools, clubs and government bodies. We are seeking a suitable applicant for the role of Office Manager.

Duties:

To manage office, customer service and HR activities

Requirements:

A highly motivated and adaptable person who is a good communicator with proven experience in people management, financial control and customer service.
Sports industry exposure would be beneficial but not essential
A minimum two A-levels grade C or above and preferably a university degree or an MBA.
Good IT skills with knowledge of Sage Line 50, MS Word and Excel, including email, spread sheets and databases is essential

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 pa negotiable

Flicx- Retail Representative (added 24.01.2012)

Flicx UK, a Brackley Based operation are looking for a suitable representative to call on and develop business within Sports Retailers, National Governing Bodies and Coaching Clinics around the United Kingdom and developing into Europe and the Middle East.

About the role:

This is a new position within the organization as the company is in the process of changing its strategy from marketing direct through to developing and increasing its business through Sports Retailers, Online shops and Coaching organizations.

Founded in 2000, Flicx UK is a well established business and brand within the cricket industry. In 2008, it was awarded the sole rights to import and distribute the Crazy Catch range of products through out the United Kingdom and Europe. The new owners of the Crazy Catch brand moved production to China in 2009 thus opening the doors to a whole new range of products suitable to a multiple of sports. These include Tennis, Hockey, Netball, Badminton, Rugby etc. see video channel for more information.

We are looking for a young and enthusiastic ( sports orientated) retail sales representative who preferably has existing experience in this market. He or she should have the ability to demonstrate products, build sound relationships and have mindset to establish creative ways in developing the two brands.

The successful candidate , depending on experience can expect to earn a competitive package, as well as the support of a forward thinking company looking to expand their business.

He or she will expect to:

Call on an existing retailer network, while at the same time build this network as we progress into a wider range of sports;
To develop relations and opportunities within national and regional sports bodies; County Sports Partnerships and Youth Sport Trust
To be self motivated, work from home ( depending on current base), develop sales and marketing plan

The position, for the moment will report directly through to the Managing Director
